A Year of Resilience and Innovation: A Message from Our Chair
At Community Futures South Georgian Bay, the 2024–2025 year was defined by resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs.
Our business community continues to inspire with its adaptability and drive. Entrepreneurs across the region launched new ventures, navigated shifting markets, and strengthened the local economy. Their success stories are a powerful reminder of the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels the South Georgian Bay and surrounding areas.
This year, CFSGB provided $1.1 million in funding to small businesses and supported 360 jobs. Tangible outcomes that reflect our mission in action. Beyond financial support, we offered wrap-around services, dynamic programs, and engaging workshops to guide entrepreneurs through every stage of their journey.
These achievements would not be possible without the dedication of our staff and volunteers. Their mentorship, expertise, and behind-the-scenes efforts are the backbone of our impact.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to building a vibrant, resilient small business ecosystem. With our partners, volunteers, and community by our side, we will continue to make entrepreneurship accessible, supported, and celebrated.
