This year Community Futures South Georgian Bay celebrates 37 years in operation. We disbursed over $1 million in loans over the past year and provided over 300 hours of business coaching assistance impacting approximately 150 jobs. Over the past 37 years we have loaned over $14 million to small businesses in our local communities. This has resulted in additional investments of $62 million and supported over 3600 jobs. Together, we have adapted our programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our business community, ensuring they continue to receive the support and resources they need to be successful.
The past year has been marked by continuing challenges and uncertainty, testing our resilience and adaptability. However, in the face of adversity, our local entrepreneurs have demonstrated remarkable ingenuity and determination. You have turned obstacles into opportunities, forging new paths and reimagining the way you operate. Your ability to embrace change and pivot swiftly continues to amaze us.
