Growth Program for Women Entrepreneurs

Program Overview: Female Founders Network is a dynamic leadership program designed specifically for women small business owners and entrepreneurs. The program focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with the essential leadership skills, business acumen, and confidence required to drive their businesses forward. Through a blend of practical training, mentorship, and peer support, the program prepares women to lead their ventures with vision, resilience, and innovation.

Female Founders Network is tailored to support women in navigating leadership roles with confidence, fostering a strong sense of community, and building a network of empowered female leaders.

Sessions will take place at the office of Community Futures South Georgian Bay, 105 Hurontario Street in downtown Collingwood.

Your investment is $600 for all six sessions, which includes professional coaching, peer mentoring, and the outcomes and activities listed below.

Program Objectives:

  • Develop Leadership Skills:  Provide female entrepreneurs with tools and techniques to effectively lead their businesses, create high performance teams, make strategic decisions, and navigate the complexities of business ownership.
  • Build a Supportive Network: Engage with an active peer group of like-minded women entrepreneurs who can offer lived experiences, collaboration opportunities, mutual support and inspiration.
  • Foster Innovation and Growth: Foster a culture of innovation by helping participants develop creative solutions to business challenges and explore new opportunities for growth.
  • Build Self-Awareness: Encourage self-reflection and feedback to deepen awareness of personal strengths, values, and leadership style.
  • Build Confidence and Resilience: Empower women to embrace their leadership potential, overcome imposter syndrome, and confidently take on leadership roles in their personal and professional lives. Equip women with the confidence to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and lead with purpose and determination.

Program Structure:

  • Reflection and Feedback: Regular reflection sessions and feedback loops to help participants track their progress and continuously improve their leadership abilities.
  • Workshops and Masterclasses: Interactive sessions led by an expert facilitator focusing on leadership, business strategy, and practical skills.
  • Peer Learning and Collaboration: Facilitated group discussions and activities that foster peer learning, allowing participants to share experiences, insights, and best practices.
  • Business Development Projects: Hands-on projects that allow participants to apply their learning directly to their businesses, with feedback and support from experts and peers.
  • Networking: Opportunities to connect with like-minded women, build professional relationships, and expand networks within and outside the program.

Meet your Facilitator – Jill Proud

Leadership, it’s not about having the answers, it’s about leading with purpose and setting an example that ignites vitality and builds belonging.

Jill and the Vital Visionary team are here to empower Founders, CEOs and their teams to 10X their leadership confidence so they can have a massive impact in their business and in the world.

For over 20 years, Jill has coached and mentored in diverse sectors, from seasoned entrepreneurs with multimillion-dollar businesses, to leaders stepping into CEO roles, to Olympic athletes preparing to compete on the world stage. Jill has had the honour to support their elevation.

Facilitating powerful peer groups is how Jill amplifies the impact of her one-to-one and team leadership  development. From the Vital Visionary Accelerator to launching the South Georgian Bay Chapter of Women  Presidents’ Organization, Jill connects women leaders to their power to drive business growth and be a vital  support network. 

Jill thrives working in diverse and meaningful environments including being a TAIS coach for the 2010 and 2014  Canadian National Women’s Hockey Team through Performance Coaching Inc., building inter-sectoral collaboration  between private, not-for-profit and government sectors in Chile and Canada to action on environmental  sustainability and working with executive leaders at Queen’s University Smith School of Business.

Through all of her roles, delivering across the globe, Jill has witnessed first-hand the profound impact of leaders  who intentionally engage with their purpose and focus on keeping themselves vital so they show up at their best  and build spaces of belonging where people have the opportunity to perform at their best. 

Whether she is coaching 1:1, delivering team sessions, facilitating peer groups or speaking to large audiences, Jill’s  passion for the role leaders play in creating innovative, connected workplaces creates a highly engaged and results oriented experience for her clients. 

Jill lives on the Niagara Escarpment, loves her view to Georgian Bay, spending time daily in the woods with her dog  and her partner and bringing her energy and enthusiasm to her local community.
