The Cheese Gallery

Success Story – The Cheese Gallery

The idea of The Cheese Gallery was created in 2010 when owner Casey Thomson decided to leave the corporate world and become her own boss. Casey wanted to create a place that encourages ALL the pleasures — from drinking your morning tea out of a stunning hand-made cup to gobbling up a really stinky Epoisses to relaxing in a comfy chair with a warm pain au chocolat.

The Cheese Gallery storefrontToday, The Cheese Gallery, nestled on the main street in Thornbury (a.k.a. The Town of the Blue Mountains) is a culmination of ALL great things brought together into one place. Casey provides her customers with extraordinary local and international cheeses, gourmet foods, locally produced artisan’s foods and the talents of a group of artists who work in all media. You can stay for lunch, cozy up to the bar and enjoy wine from local wineries with a cheese pairing or snuggle in the lounge area with a cup of your favourite loose leaf tea or Ashanti Coffee.

A visit to The Cheese Gallery truly awakens your culinary senses where the cheeses offered are true to their origins, history and tradition. Casey has carefully selected gourmet food offerings from around the globe and neighbouring communities. Its fabulous retail section provides a fun and delightful shopping experience for whatever the occasion.

The Cheese Gallery has been very successful providing the local residents as well as visitors travelling in the area with a unique food and retail experience.
